'Tar' (tape archiver) was originally designed to create
backups on tapes for UNIX systems. Nowadays, it is a common method
for condensing a directory heirarchy of files to a single file that
is usually compressed for backups and general data transport. This
class framework provides read-only load & file access functionality
presented as a dynamic tree structure.

Although the concept of using a program's executable file for dependent
data storage has been around for quite some time, the technique is rarely
used in the Linux operating system. This class framework provides a
cross-platform tool for accessing executable file resources for both
Linux and Windows targets. Although the classes provide a simple wrapper
for general Windows resource functions, the Linux tools are much
simplified as the technique simply embeds a specialized form of a tarfile
within the program's executable file.
